Alexandra Young

I’m a postdoc in the Centre for Medical Image Computing at UCL. My research involves the development and application of disease progression models, as part of the POND initiative. Disease progression models are a new set of machine learning tools that reconstruct how a disease evolves over time from diverse medical datasets. This reconstruction can be used to gain insight into the underlying disease biology, and to provide fine-grained staging and stratification systems for clinical trials and healthcare.
